About the Festival
A Sweet Tradition Since 1990
The Minco Honey Festival began in 1990 as a celebration of the town's centennial and its deep connection to the honey industry through the Ross Honey Company — one of Oklahoma's largest honey producers. What started as a small community gathering has grown into one of the most beloved annual events in central Oklahoma, drawing visitors from across the state and beyond.
Each year on the first Saturday of December, Main Street comes alive with arts and crafts vendors, honey tastings, live music, delicious food, and activities for the whole family. Admission is always free, and free shuttle rides are available from designated parking areas.

Festival Highlight
Ross Honey Company Tours
A highlight of every Honey Festival is the opportunity to tour the Ross Honey Company — one of Oklahoma's largest honey producers and the reason Minco is known as "The Land of Milk and Honey."
During the festival, the company opens its doors for guided tours where visitors can learn about the honey-making process, see the beekeeping equipment, and sample a variety of local honey. It's a sweet experience you won't want to miss!
Tours run from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM during the festival.
